Scope
Brand Development · Brand Guidelines · Website Redesign · Digital Design

Building a cohesive visual and digital identity for an organization connecting Georgia’s entertainment and tourism economies.

The Project

Entertainment Tourism Alliance of Georgia (ETAG) works at the intersection of Georgia’s entertainment and tourism industries, with a mission centered on education, advocacy, tourism, and economic development.

The organization already had a mission and identity, but its digital presence needed a stronger visual system to bring those ideas together consistently. My work focused on developing practical brand standards and applying that visual language to a redesigned website and supporting digital materials.

The goal was to create something polished and professional while still feeling energetic, creative, and distinctly connected to Georgia.

My Role

I approached the project as both a design and communication problem, developing a visual system that could work consistently across the organization’s website and future materials.

Brand Development
Refined the existing identity into a practical visual system with defined logo treatments, colors, typography, and usage standards.

Brand Guidelines
Created a five-page brand kit documenting the organization’s mission and vision alongside logo usage, color specifications, typography, hierarchy, and accessibility considerations.

Website Redesign
Applied the developing visual system to the organization’s website, improving visual hierarchy, consistency, organization, and presentation.

Digital Design
Created a framework that could extend beyond the website into future promotional, informational, and organizational materials.

Building the Brand System

The brand system was designed to translate ETAG’s mission into a visual identity that balances professionalism with the energy of Georgia’s entertainment and tourism industries.

I developed a practical brand guide that connects the organization’s mission and vision with the visual tools used to communicate them. The system establishes consistent logo treatments, a Georgia-inspired color palette, typography and hierarchy, and guidance for applying the identity across print and digital materials.

The goal was not simply to define how the brand should look, but to create a framework that could help ETAG communicate consistently as its programs, partnerships, and public presence continue to grow.

What This Project Demonstrates

ETAG gave me the opportunity to approach design at the system level: understanding an organization’s goals, translating them into a cohesive visual language, documenting that system, and applying it across a broader digital presence.

Rather than treating individual design decisions as isolated choices, I focused on creating a flexible foundation that could support consistent communication as the organization continued to grow.

The project demonstrates how I approach brand work as both a visual and practical problem, balancing identity, clarity, usability, and the needs of the people who will continue using the system after the initial design work is complete.
